Shoko Kuge Morton

Shoko Kuge Morton leads the International Business Desk at TSL Partners, supporting overseas companies entering, operating, and expanding their businesses in Japan.
She serves as a central point of contact for international clients, coordinating matters from the initial consultation through engagement and ongoing legal support. Working closely with the firm’s attorneys and external partners, she helps ensure that legal advice is effectively translated into practical next steps for clients navigating the Japanese market.

Before joining TSL Partners, Shoko built her career across international business development, bilingual project management, and client services for foreign companies entering Japan. She has also worked in the executive office of a global technology company, supporting cross-border business operations and management initiatives.
With experience working across different industries and jurisdictions, as well as academic experience in the UK, she brings a practical international perspective to bridging overseas clients with Japan’s legal and business environment.
