Masakazu Miyaji

As Managing Partner, he leads the firm’s legal practice and oversees the delivery of legal services across the firm.

After qualifying as an attorney, he began his career at a Tokyo Startup Law Firm, where he advised Japanese companies on legal matters relating to their operations in Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia and Indonesia.

He subsequently worked in-house at major financial services companies and financial institutions, handling a broad range of legal and compliance matters, including credit card, leasing and financing businesses, group-wide compliance involving domestic and overseas subsidiaries, and project finance for power generation projects.

Drawing on both private practice and in-house experience, he provides practical, business-oriented legal advice that helps companies understand legal risks and make informed decisions in the context of their business objectives.
