Thomas The Startup Lawyers — Strategic Partnership (Germany, France, Italy)

Thomas The Startup Lawyers (Germany, France, Italy) and TSL Partners have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support cross-border matters between Japan and Europe.

The two firms will work together on cross-border matters in both directions: European companies entering Japan, and Japanese companies expanding into European markets. Areas of cooperation include market entry structuring, incorporation and employment matters, GDPR and data protection, cross-border M&A, and international IP strategy.

The firms will also refer clients to each other on a non-exclusive basis, subject to conflict checks and the client’s prior consent, and plan joint seminars and publications on Japan–Europe expansion.

Each firm remains an independent practice and takes sole responsibility for the matters it accepts.
